Here at Encounter Church we come from different walks of life and backgrounds but with one purpose, to encounter the living God and live a transformed life by the power of the Holy Spirit. So come as you are and join us on the journey!

Our desire is to provide an atmosphere for growth and ministry. We’re here to serve you and help you find a meaningful place of community and service to God.

If you’re new to Encounter Church or considering joining us for a service, we hope you’ll find a place where you feel welcomed and at home – even if you’ve never been to church before. Our hope is that you will be changed by God’s Word, encouraged by His people and touched by His Presence!

Vision

Encounter is the vision and future of our church community as a place of bringing people into Encounter with Jesus Christ and with one another. We believe that experiencing and accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour is one's primary encounter, but is followed by life in community and in subsequent encounters with the risen Christ. Our desire is to be a people who practice biblical worship - worship that is Christ-centred and forms a community of believers equipped by the Holy Spirit to move outward to a world that desperately needs to hear and see the good news of Christ embodied.
